First Enterprise File System Purpose-Built for the Cloud
Panzura CloudFS™, a seventh generation file system, was focused from the beginning on 6 key design tenets. The result? The perfect multi-cloud data management solution for the enterprise. Legacy storage providers are trying to reinvent themselves to address multi-cloud computing environments. However, bolt-on technology has never provided a best-in-class solution.
Enterprise Scale, Performance, and Resource Utilization
Enterprise Global Collaboration
Enterprise File Services for Data Center Workloads and Mobile Clients
Enterprise Deployment and Buying Flexibility
Enterprise Automation and Centralized Management
Enterprise Cloud Data Protection and Availability
How Does Panzura CloudFS Work? Like a Distributed Scale-Out NAS, Modernized for the Cloud.
Panzura CloudFS is a scale-out, distributed file system purpose-built for the cloud. Programmatically accessible through REST APIs, it utilizes high performance flash in the data center, and integrates the cloud for economics, scalability, and durability. Unlike NAS, it scales globally across multiple sites and multiple clouds.
Panzura Freedom Filers at each site connect to each other and to a master data source.
Frequently used files are cached at each office for fast access.
Files are kept constantly synchronized across all sites.
Users can access the same file at the same time, even if they’re thousands of miles apart.
The master copy is kept synchronized with the public or private cloud provider of your choice.
Byte-range global locking technology protects files from being accidentally overwritten.
Global namespace helps maintain data consistency and integrity across all sites.
Locking and metadata allow the global namespace to present a single volume to all sites.
27 Patents and Growing
Panzura CloudFS incorporates key enabling technologies that deliver multi-cloud storage consolidation without sacrificing performance at the edge. As a result, customers can manage exponential unstructured data growth by replacing legacy NAS storage, and reduce total storage costs by up to 70%.
Panzura has been awarded 27 patents to date, with 19 more pending. Examples of Panzura technology include:
