SAN FRANCISCO—April 2, 2026—Panzura today announced the appointment of Karthik Ramamurthy as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Dan Waldschmidt who, as part of a planned transition, is stepping down after more than two years in the role.
Ramamurthy assumes the reins as CEO from his position as Panzura’s Chief Product Officer, where he has recently led product, engineering, and go-to-market strategy. His appointment reflects Panzura’s commitment to operating as a customer-first, product-first organization—one where platform innovation is driven by the real-world requirements of the organizations it serves.

He has deep knowledge in storage, data management, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity.
