Panzura was formed in 2008, when cloud storage wasn’t much more than a twinkle in some very smart engineers’ eyes. Right from the start, we realized two things:

One — Data isn’t just the new oil. Instead, it would become the beating heart of organizations, globally. None of us would be able to function without it.

Two — The way that organizations were storing, accessing, protecting, managing, and delivering their data would need to change.

So, we created a practical hybrid cloud model that combined local NAS file performance with the elasticity of the cloud, making secure, global cloud file management an accessible reality for enterprise customers around the world.

Along the way, we secured patents for groundbreaking innovation in managing, moving, accessing, delivering, controlling and securing file data and metadata, in and out of the cloud.

From cloud storage to complete data management.

The first iteration of a Panzura solution was a cloud storage gateway that helped to move file data in and out of the cloud. Our solution expanded to become a global cloud file system, uniquely capable of immediate global data consistency.

Over time, our mastery of metadata and our focus on data immutability have fundamentally changed the way that organizations can protect and work with active data.

Today, our powerful hybrid cloud file services platform, CloudFS and data services platform, Panzura Symphony allow infrastructure and operations leaders to see and understand their data, control their costs, shrug off data damage, and dramatically accelerate their organization’s productivity.
