David Black

David Black is Chief Financial Officer at Panzura where he provides expert guidance on capital allocation and investment priorities, ensuring alignment between Panzura’s financial planning and market execution.

David has more than 30 years of extensive experience in enterprise technology finance. Having previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Panzura, his expertise includes a board-level understanding of the financial dimensions of technology roadmaps. Black’s career spans roles as Senior Vice President of Finance at Pavilion, CFO at Advantel Networks, and Vice President of Finance at Gridiron Systems. He also held financial leadership positions at FaceTime Communications, BEA Systems, and Fortinet Inc.

David has contributed to multiple successful IPOs while helping scale controls and processes for high-growth companies. He has also built world-class Accounting, Finance, Legal and Human Resource departments and he is an expert in fostering financial excellence in enterprise technology organizations.

A fine wine connoisseur and Green Bay Packers fan, he resides in the community of Carmel, Calif.
