Panzura recruits David Wigglesworth as VP of Global Sales as multi-cloud data management leader builds momentum and continues to outpace competition. 

SAN JOSE, Calif. – June 7, 2022 - Panzura LLC, a market leader in hybrid multi-cloud data management, has appointed David Wigglesworth as its new Global VP of Sales. David will be responsible for building and managing an expanding global sales team as the company continues to build on the success of its “refounding” in 2020, spearheaded by CEO Jill Stelfox and CRO Dan Waldschmidt.

In less than two years, the company has brought seven products to market, more than doubled its annual recurring revenue (ARR) and has achieved a pace of growth 4x that of its competitors. By June 2023, the company is expecting to achieve $100 million ARR.

David joins the company with more than three decades of sales leadership, sales operations, and territory development experience, having served in senior leadership roles at EMC, OVH, VMware, and most recently, Commvault.

Panzura’s announcement comes during a time when businesses are being forced to think differently about the cost of storage and importance data protection following a global shift toward remote and agile working. SaaS and hybrid-cloud secure data management are rapidly becoming the new standard, but businesses are still looking for ways to intelligently store and access unstructured data without compromising on security.
